What we do
inspiring future engineers
Welcome to connect2engineering, which is designed to connect students to engineers and engineering opportunities. The site was created by a coalition of representatives of engineering companies, non-profit organizations and educational institutions in the Midwest.
One of our main goals is to encourage women and underrepresented students to consider engineering careers, especially as there is a looming shortage of engineers throughout the industry. Our focus is on all K-12 students, along with parents and teachers.
connect2engineering is here to serve as a resource for engineering events and happenings in the region, as well as a comprehensive source for connecting with area professionals, students and faculty already in the engineering field. There’s no better way to find out about careers in engineering than from those who enjoy it every day.
